Mall sculpture is measured commercially: does it hold people in the space, does it get photographed, does it give a centre a recognisable identity. It also has to survive the highest touch traffic of any setting we work in.
Built for crowds. Anything within reach gets handled constantly. We specify brushed, textured or PVD finishes at hand height because mirror polish shows every fingerprint within an hour of opening, use tamper-proof fixings, and round every edge a child could reach. Where a piece invites climbing, we either engineer it to take the load or shape the geometry to discourage it.
Atrium and suspended work. Hanging installations need rigging calculations, certified fixings and a documented load path into the building frame — centre management will ask for all three. We supply them with the drawings, along with weights and point loads for the structural engineer.
Installation without closing the centre. Large pieces are built as bolted sections sized to fit service lifts and loading bays, so assembly happens on site, overnight where required, rather than needing a crane through the roof.
Seasonal and campaign work. We also produce demountable pieces for seasonal display, designed to be dismantled, crated and stored between campaigns.
How is it cleaned? Brushed stainless and PVD wipe down with a soft cloth and mild detergent; we supply a short care note. Avoid abrasive pads on any finish. Anti-graffiti coating is available where a piece sits in an unsupervised area.
